It's Called Life

It's been a very busy couple of weeks.  We had company three times, which we always enjoy greatly.  So if you ever want to come visit, we'd love to have you!  Thanks to those who came to see us!

We tried to go boating again with our friends.  After our, how shall I say it, memorable experience in the boat last time, we were joking about how it had better work this time.  I told Brad that if it didn't work this time, he'd know for sure that we were the problem.  Well, we got the boat into the water; but, alas, it simply wouldn't start.  It was a quiet night on the lake, so it was just a good thing that it chose not to start before we got into the middle of the lake this time!  So, we had a picnic in the boat...in the parking lot.

We're still struggling to get Kyla to keep her diaper on.  We've tried different methods of discipline and different outfits.  Finally, after one particular mess in Kyla's crib that we cleaned up, Bryan told me, "That's it.  Wait here."  He ran downstairs and came back with a role of duct tape.  But he can only stay upset until Kyla until she gives him a big hug.

Kyla loves to play pretend.  I hear her talking to her baby in bed before she goes to sleep.  I saw her changing Winnie the Pooh's diaper yesterday.  This picture speaks for itself.

She constantly amazes me with how much she understand.  Today during a meeting that I was in with some other ladies, she came and told me she had a dirty diaper.  I whispered to her to go get her diaper bag.  Without a second's hesitation, she went into the other room and drug the diaper bag back to me.

My newest venture is becoming a Norwex consultant.  I had my first party on Saturday.  It was so much fun!  I can't wait to have more parties!  Even Kyla thinks it's great!

Another new thing in my life is the small group that was recently started by my aunt Kathy.  We are going to be doing a study called Wisdom for Mothers.  We had our second meeting this morning.  There were 5 women, plus Kathy.  Two of them are former Hutterite.  I am already learning from the women and am excited to learn and grow along side them through this group.  It is going to be a wonderful new part of my life!
